Candied Jalapenos
We found these at a truck stop in Hammond, Louisiana. Although the product is from Gourmet Gardens in Texas, we have decided to adopt it as a Cajun delicacy. Cooking makes them less than jalapeno hot with a sugar/spice sweetness that is unique. They are perfect on hamburgers, hot dogs, any kind of sandwich, on crackers with dip, or just out of the jar.
